This wall art piece features a stunning owl carving created live on my YouTube channel using chainsaws and various carving tools. To achieve a lifelike appearance, I utilized an airbrush and various techniques for added depth. The final touch was two coats of exterior polyurethane, and for added durability, aluminum c channel was added to the back. This particular hanger was hand-carved from a 2 inch x 11.5 inch x 36 inch piece of pine. To maintain its beauty, it is recommended to apply exterior polyurethane annually or as needed. Please note, as this piece is made from real wood, natural cracks may develop over time and exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading. To preserve this magnificent work of art, simply apply additional exterior polyurethane.
